World-wide warming that is actually tied to industrialization as well as tasks such as driving a vehicle, burning coal, and other human ventures causes the ice melting.

what are the effects of polar bear extinction? what are the short term and long term effects of polar bear extinction? how will it effect the world economically, socially, politically, and culturally? what will happen to other animals?
Well polar bears are really cute, the media & environmentalists just use the polar bear as an example of what can occur because of your climate change, but many different animals, plants, etc, would be affected greatly by a climate change. They just choose one specific animal, so the public can digest it easier. If the polar bears were to become extinct, whatever they are predators do would overpopulate, there would still be other kinds of bears, just not the polar bears. But climate change as a whole would completely change the world. People would have to be evacuated from places where they are unable to live because of extreme temperatures, and little island nations would be completely wiped off the map.
…This is truly a difficult question. The short term impacts and economical impacts is probably towards the Zoos. For enviromental effect it will damage the Food web in the artic very severely, depending on the importance of the species it will have a huge or small scale of impact in terms of enviroment.Socially…well the only thing I can think of is Animals Activist raging against the Government for doing nothing to save the Polar Bears.Culturally and Politically…this is unlikely to be honest….back to the food web topic. If the food web is damaged,it is likely that other animals will go extinct along with the Polar Bears and the animals Polar Bears hunt(Seals and fish) will over-populate and cause a negative impact on the enviroment.
This is a hard question
How would the death of every Whale, Polar Bear, and Dolphin harm me? All 3 of these animals eat the fish that we could be eating, if we eliminated these competitors, it would mean more fish for us. On top of it we could enjoy a nice amount of meat from these animals while we were killing them off, as well as fine fur coats from the polar bears we’d shoot into extinction. I guess that killing off all the polar bears would be harmful because we couldn’t get more polar bear coats later, but I’d be happy to hear what the loss in killing off the whales and dolphins would be, sounds like more red meat in the short term, and more fish in the long term, please tell me where I personally lose in the killing off these species that are competing against me for meat.
Tyrannosaurus Rex, brontosaurus, Dodo, Tasmanian wolf, the sea cow.Caspian Tiger, and pallas cormarant. are all extinct. The whale polar bear and dolphin, wouldnt upset your lifestylye.life will go on
well eventually, the fish population would come into an insane increase, and they’d just have to starve themselves out because there’s no more bugs left… all the waters would get polluted, which would then pollute our drinking, cooking, and bathing water, which if you don’t know is a bad thing i just overall think you’re a moron
Competing against YOU for meat? When’s the last time you saw either a polar bear, dolphin or whale ahead of you at the Burger King drive-thru?
what is the impact on young adults about polar bear extinction?
They probably believe it. Pressure groups like to go to work on children because they believe what they are told by their elders, and it is easy to produce a strong emotional effect on them by talking about danger to animals. The polar bear population is very healthy, and has increased in a number of recent years.
None, it’s all in their minds. I’ve only seen one in zoo, and it didn’t impress me much. Out of sight, out of mind. Next you’ll say the unicorns are endangered.
if they were going extinct, it may have an effect on young peoples peace of mind, but since their numbers are increasing the point is to make YOU think they are going extinct…this is to get you behind the pseudoscience of global warming…http://newsbusters.org/node/12694
