A Folly Beach Family trip is No Mistake

One of the Folly Beach Rentals Oceanfront might be just what you may need. If your schedule, work requirements and family obligations have lately been pressing you to the limit, then why don’t you push back? Take a little trip to a spot known as the “Edge of America” and show everyone that you’re completely capable of hanging on tight in the face of obstacles and letting loose when you recognize it is time.
Folly Beach, South Carolina can take you just far enough away from it all to relax and unwind, so think about making your way to this alluring vacation spot when you’re ready to see things from a different vantage point entirely.Folly Beach has a humorous name for being such a safe bet. It is a barrier island that extends for around seven miles, and it’s located a comfortable eight miles away from vibrant Charleston. The sand, sun and fun all comprise the ingredients of a good time, and together with the rustic appeal and fabled southern hospitality of the region of the nation, it’s actually a no-fail recipe for vacation success.
A well known surfing place, the Washout, provides superb waves for those willing to try their boarding skills. You are going to easily see the Edwin S. Taylor Fishing Pier as it stretches prominently into the ocean and gathers together the fun and frivolity that piers are famous for. Most visitors to Folly Beach County Park have the practice of frolicking right down to an art, as this place makes it simple to lose yourself and be a child again. From the umbrella rentals to the picnic areas, you and your loved ones will likely be ready to have a properly laughter-filled day on the beach.
Several eating places are around for fulfilling and even defying expectations about what makes a good dinner. Sea food is abounding, as you might imagine, but everyone should find something to enjoy – and eat. The evening can continue as long as you would like while you meander down the street and select from various happenin’ patios to observe the setting sun or the people. Conclude all of it with a stroll on the beach, romance-novel style, and tell a special someone just how you’re feeling.
Art galleries, local creators and a phenomenon known as the Bluegrass Jam will prove the creative depth of Folly Beach’s residents, so don’t neglect your cultural side as make your way about. Dancers also are welcomed to cut a rug with members of the Islanders Shag Club. For the uninitiated, the shag is South Carolina’s state dance and it’s alive and well; lessons are offered once per week and most other evenings are a free-for-all of shagginess.
The last thing that should be mentioned is the Morris Island Lighthouse. Erosion of the beachfront has caused this imposing landmark to become surrounded by water, however the actions of concerned individuals have allowed it to be protected from additional deterioration due to an subterranean steel retaining wall. Enjoy this unique sight and the spirit of the thoughtful local community that is reflected upon it.
Since you now see a trip to Folly Beach wouldn’t be a blunder, it is time to consider places to stay. The very best complement to a laid-back beachfront vacation is a special property which will encourage peace of mind to blossom for you and all your travel companions; a spot that will fit everyone’s needs and provides convenience as well. Look into getting one of the Folly Beach Rentals Oceanfront that strikes your fancy – it certainly won’t be too difficult.
Your trip to the edge will be an exciting one, and the tales you return with will likely motivate a few other travelers to stray from the traditional and check out life as it’s seen from the brink of normalcy.

Any suggestions on a romantic beach vacation in Florida? I am trying to plan a romantic mini-vacation for me and my boyfriend preferably for around 4 days. Anyone have any suggestions about a location or great hotel? We would like to go somewhere on the panhandle. do you remember what the name of the resort is?
ive actually been planning the same thing for my girlfriend in orlando, we are staying at a really nice resort here and going to a really nice restaurant, and then there is a beach close by we could go to and at night go to either downtown orlando or the boardwalk.
How can I have a “beach vacation” at home? My friend is feeling really down and really needs a weekend away, but he’s really busy right now, and a bit broke. How can I set up a beach scene at my house to make it almost kind of feel like a vacation?
fill your house with water. bring some coconut trees and sand. and have lots of fun. remember to learn swiming first. ok

What are songs for an ultimate beach vacation playlist? I am looking to create an ultimate playlist for our family vacation to the beach at Ocean City, MD. Songs that really get you in that relaxed-at-the-beach feeling. Can’t wait to hear your answers-thanks!
Any songs by The Beach Boys.
I always determine my answer before looking at other posters and what they say but word for word I was thinking exactly the same thing as the other poster mentioned, The Beach Boys.
any suggestions for a good beach vacation spot? My fiance and i want to go on vacation for about a week this december… we were looking into hawaii but it seems like it would be expensive to stay there (not the travel package, just the food and activities). if anyone has any experience in hawaii or a better suggestion, any input would be great. we just want to relax and be lazy somewhere with a great beach, preferably somewhere with a bar that is not too expensive to eat/do stuff. thanks : ) ps we are 21 and 23 years old

Is thanksgiving, a good time for a Miami or daytona beach vacation? Weather, crowd etc? I am planning to go on a vacation to Florida during last week of november. what is the best place to visit? What will be the weather like? I am more interested in quiet beach area, water sports and national parks. Thanks!
Most people go home for the Thanksgiving holiday, it’s the busiest air travel time of the year, period. So, if you don’t mind dealing with crowds at airports and avoid traveling at least 2 days before and 2 days after Thanksgiving, your plane travel should be okay. There shouldn’t be too many crowds, especially on Thanksgiving, but alot of things might also be closed because it’s not only a holiday week but also off season. Personally, I would go for Daytona Beach but the temps are about the same in either place.
Suggestions for a new beach vacation spot? We’re planning a trip this winter to a new beach destination, but can’t decide where to go. We’ve been to Mexico and Jamaica several times and would like to try a new location, preferably somewhere with a lively and safe downtown area outside of the resort. Definitely want it to be outside the US, but still in the western hemisphere!
Hey! vacation on beaches is a great idea to chill out and have fun with your friends and family. Well there are many spots where you can set your foot, but would recommend you to try Brazil. It is a wonderful place loaded with many pristine beaches where you can roam around freely. You can try Praia do Toque, Taipus de Fora, Fernando de Noronha and Alter do Chao, Par? as per my choice. These serene beaches are stops where you can relax and enjoy at the same time, so do give it a shot. If you are interested in knowing about other places then you can take help from popular travel sites.
